Here's a step by step example using Blackboard.com's online course service.
First, I logged into my LiveMath Storage Bin
using my username and password
I chose the "Add A File" Icon
at the bottom of my file listing.
I selected the file "testing1.thp" from the File Upload dialogue box that popped up when I hit "Browse."
Then entered the desired file name for the storage bin - "test1"
and clicked "Put This File in My Bin"
After my successful upload, I opened a new browser window and went to www.blackboard.com
and logged into my account.
Then I chose my course
And clicked the "Control Panel" Button from the Menu on the left.
I chose "Page Editors" from the Menu
And then chose "Assignment Editor"
and clicked on the "Add Document" button.
I filled out the form, inserting the information I wanted to see, using html tags and MAKING SURE I selected the "yes" radio button at the bottom of Step 1 that said "The Above Information Contains HTML:"
(If you don't select "yes", you will not see the LiveMath applet - you will see the code you put in to view it.)
Then I submitted the form by clicking the
"submit" button at the bottom of the page, ignoring Step 2, since my material is already uploaded to LiveMath Storage.
The document then shows up in my Assignments folder for students to see, with my LiveMath file visible.
To look at the actual Assignment file I created to see exactly what I typed into the form, go here.
(This page would show up in the frame on my "calc161:Diff Calc" Class and you'd be able to navigate through the class to the left of this frame.)
